If you like these kind of books, then you will certainly enjoy this one. It was well thought out and very easy book to understand. I really did enjoy the character development of Damon – it’s quite clear from the start that there is something different about him, but as to what it is exactly, that remains slightly mysterious until later on in the book. And even with Ever having the abiltity to see her sister, she is still able to hold a sense of realism (although to be honest, this is a book about immortals…). I loved the sisterly relationship in the book – the scenes that involved the two of them, were some of my favourite parts.

This is clearly the point which led people into believing that there were vampires in this book, but the way that the authors works around this issue is quite interesting.
